Somewhere in Philadelphia, Elliot has returned from Iraq and is struggling to find his place in the world. Somewhere in a chat room, recovering addicts keep each other alive, hour by hour, day by day. The boundaries of family and community are stretched across continents and cyberspace, birth families splinter and online families collide. A winner of the 2012 Pulitzer Prize, WAM Theatre invites the Berkshire audience to partake in this artful and heartfelt meditation on life on the brink of redemption.

In a summer cottage on Chesapeake Bay, Gunner has hatched an unorthodox plan to secure his family’s future but meets with resistance from his wife and son, who have plans of their own. As winter approaches, the three must find common ground and come to an understanding -- before the tide goes out. This new drama hums with dark humor and deep emotion.

Albany Symphony at The Palace Theatre, Albany, NY (playing "Papa" Haydn) Conducted by David Alan Miller, join the Albany Symphony and become an archaeological adventurer and join Michigan Miller as he travels through the “Door of Time” into the murky musical past in search of the origins of the symphony. Along the way, you and he must solve the riddles of the evil “Symphonic Sphinx” in his effort to find “Papa” Haydn and discover the origins of “The Symphony.” |
